Barefoot OT services are appropriate for children of any age, with any diagnosis affecting learning and development, and for those who don’t have a diagnosis but are experiencing day to day difficulties.

WE WORK WITH PARENTS WHO NEED:
Parenting tips to help them manage their child’s behaviour
Coaching strategies to help set goals and move forward
Understanding around their child’s strengths, needs and challenges
We receive referrals for school aged children with difficulties in:
Fine and gross motor skills
Visual perception and cognitive function
Attention, concentration and organisation
Social skills and behaviour
Issues relating to hospital discharge

People with sensory processing issues can have difficulty wearing shoes and socks. When we work with these kids we really are ‘Barefoot Therapists’ – we love to work barefoot outside or at your home to build resilience to tolerating sand, grass and wearing clothes.
