HAnds on farm program

Our hands-on farm program provides opportunities for children to work independently or in groups. Practical activities involved in running the farm and caring for animals can be more motivating for some children than sessions in the clinical environments. These sessions provide opportunities for developing:

  • Vocational skills and independence

  • Gross and Fine Motor skills

  • Processing and executive functioning

  • Attention and Concentration

  • Developing, prioritising and following a plan

  • Social skills

  • Cooperation and collaboration

  • Anxiety management and wellbeing
