ACTIVE KIDS!

Run by two Occupational Therapists, Bridgette and Jade, this outdoor fitness group is aimed at getting children outdoors and encouraging an active lifestyle.

Sessions are designed to help children develop their social and emotional well being and gross motor skills, in a fun and supportive environment!

Social and Emotional wellbeing:

Your child will have the opportunity to participate in physical activity with others in an environment that promotes positive self-esteem, confidence, and strategies to help manage stress and anxiety. Children will identify how their bodies and brains are feeling and implement strategies to appropriately alert or calm the body and mind.

Gross Motor Skills:

This group will develop a range of gross motor movements. The sessions will target stamina, balance, flexibility, bilateral coordination, motor planning/ sequencing, and core and shoulder strength.
